Firm launches anniversary range of infant developmental toys

Rainbow Designs is celebrating 45 years of The Very Hungry Caterpillar with the unveiling of a new toy range based on the popular pre-school property.

The new anniversary range was launched at this year’s Spring Fair and includes expansions in its infant developmental lines.

Marking the milestone, the new collection includes the Tummy Time Playmat, Large Developmental Elephant, Large Developmental Ladybird, Twist and Click Blocks and a wooden Counting Caterpillar.

The literary work from Eric Carle was first published in 1969.

The latest additions join Rainbow’s portfolio of The Very Hungry Caterpillar plush, wooden and developmental toys.

Rocket Licensing has been appointed as licensing agent for the fashion accessory and make-up brand, Models Own.

With its focus on colour and style, Models Own aims to set trends through ‘innovative formulations and unique marketing.’

Initial product areas being explored in the new deal include phone covers, sunglasses, stationery, electrical hair care and apparel with retail targets including major online and high street fashion retailers and chemists.
